BRIEF

Specflue, a leading supplier of flue, chimney, and stove systems, approached us with a mission: to promote the Vulcanus, an innovative outdoor grill that uses wood fire to cook food directly above the flames while also heating a surrounding plancha. To bring this vision to life, PRG (www.prgltd.co.uk) a renowned agency from the south coast of the UK, developed a strategy to showcase the Vulcanus through the expertise of top chefs. The goal was to create compelling content with celebrity chef Hugh Fearnley-Whittingstall and award-winning chef Luke Mackay, capturing the grill in action at two stunning locations in Devon.

HOW WE
DID IT

We set the stage for this production in two iconic Devon locations. The first, River Cottage, made famous by the long-running Channel 4 series, and the second, High Grange, Luke Macaky's own outdoor cooking retreat. Across both locations, we shot a series of dynamic content pieces that featured both chefs using the Vulcanus grill to its full potential. From summer to winter recipes, our approach was to show off the versatility of the grill while offering inspiring and mouth-watering recipe ideas. This not only gave Specflue and Vulcanus a rich library of visual content but also highlighted the grill's functionality across different seasons and cooking styles. The shoots were designed to be engaging and educational, showcasing the Vulcanus as an essential outdoor cooking tool for any home chef. The content captured the chefs' expertise and the grill's performance, creating a strong connection between the product and the audience.

RESULT

The final content pieces were strategically distributed across multiple platforms: the Vulcanus website, social media channels of both the Vulcanus brand and the chefs themselves. By integrating the brand’s message with top-tier culinary talent, the project successfully increased brand awareness and demonstrated the versatility of the Vulcanus grill. It gave potential customers a visual and practical understanding of what the product could offer, while also inspiring them with new recipe ideas. The campaign not only strengthened the Vulcanus brand but also created lasting, shareable content that continues to resonate with outdoor cooking enthusiasts.
